The name "Concrete Rose" symbolizes the resilience it takes to overcome life’s toughest challenges and emerge stronger. It’s inspired by Tupac Shakur’s poem The Rose That Grew from Concrete, which has always been meaningful to me:

"Did you hear about the rose that grew
from a crack in the concrete?
By keeping his dreams,
he learned to breathe fresh air."

This powerful image reminds us that growth and beauty are possible even in the harshest environments.

About Concrete Rose

Hi, I’m Vanessa

I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a proud mom, daughter, sister, partner, and friend who believes in resilience and beauty emerging from hardship.

My journey has shaped my passion for supporting young people and adults through life’s challenges. Healing doesn’t have to be faced alone.

My approach is relaxed yet accountable, focusing on building genuine connections rather than surface-level conversations. I bring humility and understanding to my work, knowing everyone’s path is unique.

Together, we’ll create a safe, empowering space to navigate challenges and foster growth. Outside of counseling, I enjoy time with my kids, family movie nights, outdoor walks, and reading to deepen my perspective and better serve my clients.

Let’s turn struggles into stepping stones and bloom where you’re planted. I’m here to walk with you every step of the way.
